Day by Day Overview
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be received by your safari guide who will transfer you to Sarova Panafric Hotel for your overnight stay.
Overnight: Sarova Panafric Hotel – B&B
After breakfast you will be picked from the hotel by your safari guide and set off on the drive south east to Amboseli National Park. Covering an area of 392 square kilometer at an altitude of 1100-1200m, Amboseli National Park is on the Kenya-Tanzania boarder. You will arrive at Amboseli Sentrim Tented Lodge around midday and check in. Later lunch will be served. The lodge has a nice view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. In the afternoon you will head out for the afternoon game drive, deep into the park in search of the big herds of elephants and buffalos; lions and cheetahs may also be spotted. After the sunset you will return to the lodge and freshen up before dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Amboseli Sentrim Tented Lodge – L,D
Breakfast will be served from 0630hrs. Afterwards you will head out with picnic lunch and spend the day in the park; look for the big herds of elephant and visit observation hill for lunch. It’s a view point up on a hill where you are able to see almost the whole parl. Continue with the game drive then drive back to the lodge to relax before dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Amboseli Sentrim Tented Lodge – B, L, D
At 0600hrs breakfast will be served. Afterwards you will check out and drive to Lake Naivasha through the Great Rift Valley with a stop at the view point. Continue to Naivasha Sawela Lodge for lunch and later enjoy a boat ride around the lake to see different types of birds and hippos. You will also have a nature walk amongst animals such as giraffe, zebra, waterbuck, impala and others. Drive back to the lodge and relax before dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Naivasha Sawela Lodge – B, L, D
After breakfast, at 0730hrs you will check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, which will take approximate two hours. After clearance at the gate you will have a game drive in search of rhinos and tree climbing lions before checking in at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge. Lunch will be served from 1230 thereafter relax before heading out for the afternoon game drive. The afternoon game drive will start at 1530hrs till sunset. Return to the lodge before dark for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge – B, L, D
Breakfast will be served at 0630 hrs. At 0730 hrs you will check out and drive to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, home to the big five, plenty of other wildlife, and known for the annual wildebeest migration. You will arrive at Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch then relax before heading out for the afternoon game drive deep inside the savannah in search of the big prides of lions and much more. After the sunset you will head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge – B, L, D
At 0600 hrs breakfast will be served, followed by departure at 0700 hrs (with picnic lunch box) for a whole day safari. Spend the day deep in this savannah grass land, watching animals and driving as far as the Mara River to spot hippos and crocodiles. You will break for lunch under an acacia tree then you will continue with the safari before returning to the lodge to freshen up before dinner.
Overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge – B, L, D
At 09:00hrs after breakfast you will check out and drive back to Nairobi for lunch. Later you will be transferred to Nairobi airport for your flight.
