Savuti Game Reserve is a region within the heart and southern part of Chobe National Park, a place of enchantment, beauty and one of the greatest concentrations of animals in Southern Africa. Savuti offers a memorable wild adventure. If you are a keen photographer this is the best area for cats including lions, cheetah, leopard, wild dogs and hyena. Discover this area on morning and afternoon game drives.

Head northwards to the Chobe River where your game drives will meander along the banks of the river, followed by the call of the majestic African fish eagle. The Chobe River floodplain is an amazing game viewing area where water attracts large herds of buffalo, elephant, zebra and other herbivores. Due to the proliferation of prey, predators are likely to be close at hand. Sunsets in this region are always spectacular and allow for amazing photographic opportunities.

Distance: Savuti – Chobe River: 170km, 5 hrs

Your professional guide will help to track and sport animal for your photography. This area is highly dominated by  lions, leopard, wild dogs, elephant, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, impalas, buffalo and different bird species. The safari officially ends at midday today at Kasane after a cruise on the Chobe River. For guests going to Kasane Airport or surrounding lodges, Livingstone or Victoria Falls your transfer pick-up can be arranged from 12:15. If you are staying in one of local Kasane’s lodges, your guide will be able to drop you off.
