This safari is full of surprises in three parks: Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli National Park. You will be astonished by the beautiful rugged nature of these parks. Tsavo West National Park has a wide variety of wildlife including black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard and lion. Smaller animals can also be spotted, such as bush baby, hartebeest, lesser kudu and many more. Amboseli National Park is famous for its big elephants families as well as spectacular views of the highest free standing mountain in the world, Mount Kilimanjaro.
From USD 1,050 per person
You’ll be picked up from the airport or your hotel this morning and depart by road to Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest national park. You’ll arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Tsavo East is an amazing wildlife watching destination. Although one of Kenya’s largest rivers flows through the middle of the park, the scenery is notably flatter and drier than that of Tsavo West. However, spotting wildlife is much easier thanks to the thinly spread foliage. Dinner and your overnight stay at the lodge.
Note: It is possible to downgrade to an economical option (price reduction) or to upgrade to more luxurious options (price increase).
Early-morning game drive in the impressive Tsavo East National Park. Breakfast will be served at the lodge. Use the hotel’s amenities for the remainder of the day at leisure. The lush greenery along the park’s perennial and seasonal rivers is its saving grace. The Tsavo, Galana, and Athi rivers are essential to the Tsavo ecosystem and fantastic places to see animals. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
After breakfast, you’ll cross to Tsavo West National Park, This side of the park has the most beautiful scenic views you don’t want to miss such as the chaimu volcanic crater, poacher’s lookout, roaring rocks and many other points. Tsavo West is the most visited section in Tsavo National Park, offering many other attractions apart from its wildlife. The foremost is the famous Mzima Springs where up to 227.3 million litres of cool crystal clear water flows out of the ground through the openings in the volcanic rocks, The water is believed to originate from Chyulu Hills, via an underground river. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
From Tsavo West National Park, you will drive to Amboseli National Park. Along the route, you will pass through the Satan lava flows, which are believed by the locals to have happened a few hundred years ago. The Satan lava flow is part of the larger Chyulu Hills ecosystem, which is renowned for its biodiversity and panoramic views, including Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. You’ll arrive in time for lunch at Kibo Safari Camp. Later, you will have an afternoon game drive to explore the park and get to see the big tuskers on the slopes of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Note: It is possible to downgrade to more economic options (price reduction) or upgrade to a more luxurious options (at extra cost).
This is a flexible day. After breakfast, you can choose to go for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. You’ll return to the lodge in the evening. Alternative option: an early morning game drive and returning for breakfast, then relaxing until late afternoon for another game drive at 4:00pm. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Depending on your flight details, you will organize with your guide your departure from Amboseli. You will be transferred to your Nairobi location or to the airport for your homebound flight.
