Day by Day Overview

A morning pick up from your hotel in Arusha, followed by a short safari briefing and a drive to Tarangire National Park. Your first experience of the safari will be a beautiful game drive through the vast park, teeming with animals. Arrive in time for a delicious lunch before heading out for your afternoon game drive through the park. Later you will leave the park and make your way to Lake Manyara for dinner.

Overnight at Zion Camp

After Breakfast you will head into Lake Manyara National Park, a small but extremely diverse park. The massive lake covers two-thirds of the park that boasts beautiful backdrop views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment in the distance. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park surrounded by hot springs and dense woodlands, offering beautiful bird watching of the more than 350 bird species that call the reserve home. You may also see the famous tree-climbing lions before heading to your camp for dinner.

Overnight at Panorama Camp

After breakfast you will enjoy an en-route game drive as you make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park, driving through the Ngorongoro highlands. Arriving at the park, you will be able to discover the endless plains that stretch as far as the eye can see and give the park its name. ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains’ and the huge park is filled with thousand of animals, allowing for a rich game viewing experience. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the open area before some more game viewing and then heading to your camp for the evening for a delicious dinner.

Overnight at Seronera Camp

A full day game drive awaits, allowing you to explore as much of the Serengeti as you can in search of the magnificent wildlife that call the park home. The park is known for it vast herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle that graze after a huge migration from Kenya. You can expect to see elephant, giraffe and buffalo amongst various other animals, including the big cats. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, followed by some more game viewing before making your way back to camp for dinner.

Overnight at Seronera Camp

After some breakfast, you will head out for a short game drive in the Serengeti until noon and then enjoy a picnic lunch. Later you will enjoy some more game viewing as you make your way out of the great park, heading for the Ngorongoro Crater where you will stay for the evening and enjoy some dinner.

Overnight at Simba Camp

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the crater for a magnificent game drive surrounded by the crater walls. Make your way through the UNESCO World Heritage Site, filled with an impressive array of wildlife offering excellent game sightings and later enjoy a picnic lunch. The crater walls that encircle the reserve and the permanent water supply support a vast wildlife population including an abnormally large predator population. Take some beautiful photos before making your way out of the crater and driving back to Arusha, marking the end of your Tanzania safari.
