Day by Day Overview

You will be picked up from the hotel for orientation at 8 am. Depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve via the view point of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for lunch. Upon arrival you will proceed for a game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

After breakfast you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya with its extensive road and track network allowing for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Early morning game drive and then after breakfast depart the Mara region for Nakuru. Have lunch en route with scenic views of Mt. Longmont and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru in the evening and dropped off at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific bird life including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like cape buffalo and water-buck can be seen near the shoreline. Later you will drive to Amboseli National Park. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.

You will have a full game drive in the park which contains swamp grounds, bathing elephants and hippos. A variety of plains game, antelopes, birds and Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak can be seen if weather conditions permit. We will enjoy a picnic lunch and then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

You will have an early morning game viewing drive and then return to the lodge for a full breakfast. Later we will drive back to Nairobi for drop off at a hotel or airport. Alternatively, you can proceed to Mombasa by bus for a beach holiday.
