Day by Day Overview

7.30-8.00 am pick up from hotel and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve via the view point across the spectacular Great Rift Valley and a stop at Narok town for refueling and lunch. On arrival at the camp, have a short siesta before proceeding on your first introductory game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. Return back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The Masai Mara is one the best places for game viewing in Kenya due to its extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography of wildlife. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru. Stop for lunch en route, with scenic views of Mount Longmont and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. Arrive at Nakuru and check in to a budget hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast set off on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific birdlife including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. Continue to Amboseli National Park arriving late in the evening with game viewing en route to camp. Dinner and overnight at camp.

A day of game drives in Amboseli, which has swamp grounds where elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen as well as Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the way. Return for overnight at the camp.

Early morning game viewing before returning to the camp for a full breakfast. Later drive back to Nairobi arriving late afternoon.
