On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet our representative and your safari guide who will drive you to Arusha Town for overnight at the designated hotel in town.
Overnight at Outpost Lodge or Pazuri Inn in Arusha or similar. Included Bed & Breakfast.
After breakfast at the hotel your guide will pick you up to start the drive to Tarangire National Park. This amazing park, known as “the Paradise of Elephants”, is very unique. On your journey you will see a few Masai villages along the way as well as wildlife. Around 12:00pm – 1:00pm you will have a picnic lunch at a breathtaking designated picnic area surrounded by animals in their natural habitats.
After lunch and a short break, you will depart for an afternoon game drive in the park, with possibility to see animals such as Lions, Elephants, Zebras, Buffalos, Giraffes, Baboons, Hyenas, Eland, Kudu, Cheetahs, Warthogs, Monkeys, and more… The Tarangire Park also provides shelter to over 500 bird species. Before dark in the early evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park passing via Olduvai Gorge, the prehistoric site where Dr. Louis Leakey discovered the remains of Homo habilis (“Handy man”) regarded as mankind’s first step on the path of human evolution. A visit to Olduvai Gorge is an additional of USD 60 per person.
On this day you start experiencing a game drive en route to the Serengeti National Park. See monkeys, baboons, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, elephants and many others. You will arrive in Serengeti National Park by lunchtime and have your picnic lunch at the lunching area in Serengeti and a short rest. Later in the day, enjoy afternoon games drive in the park. The Serengeti is probably the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. Within its 14,763-km2 area, it hosts 3 million large mammals. More than 35 species of plain animals- zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, and others are found here as well as the Africa big five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino. The park is famous for its spectacular events in the natural world the annual migration of wildebeest. This commences around June when over one million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle head for the Maasai Mara in Kenya and Ngorongoro Highlands in search for fresh grass and water other popular wild animals include wild dog, jackal and hyena. Serengeti also inhabit over 350 species of birds both migratory and resident.
Overnight at Kontik Serengeti tented Camp or Osinon Serengeti Tented Lodge in Serengeti or similar. All meals included.

Early in the morning depart for an early morning game drive as you look out for various wildlife species such as predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs hunting and if you’re lucky enough you may spot killing. Also spot other wild animals like caracals, giraffes, hyenas, antelopes, zebra, wildebeests, elephants, buffalos and among others when they are active in the morning ready for searching for pastures. Then you will return for breakfast at your lodge, collect your picnic lunch and proceed for a full day game viewing in Serengeti.
Where on this day you will mostly visit the northern Serengeti to experience the great migration where large numbers of wildebeests and zebra herds as the largest mammal migration on earth. The timing of the migration coincides with greening of nutritious grasses on the short-grass plains during the wet season. These areas on the north of Serengeti are safer because predators can be easily spotted making it an ideal place for calving. You will have a picnic lunch in the course of a day. Later in the evening, you will be driven back to your lodge in Serengeti for overnight.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Crater rim will be either at the Rhino Lodge or similar. All meals
included.
After breakfast you will depart with packed lunches to the Ngorongoro Crater (Conservation Area). On the way to the Ngorongoro you may want to visit a Masai village. The Masai are a nomadic tribe of noble warriors who will welcome you to their village with a welcoming song, dance and cultural activities that you may participate in. The English-speaking Chief will give guests a tour of their village and will take you into a hut to explain their way of life. Upon finishing the tour guest have the opportunity to buy some local handmade crafts, or Masai clubs, knives or hunting spears.
Once you pass through the entry gates you will descend into the Ngorongoro crater and spend the rest of the day on an amazing game drive. This is the world’s largest volcanic caldera, almost 20 km wide, approximately 600 m deep, and is known for its large variety of wildlife. In addition to viewing the Big Five (Rhinos, Leopards, Lions, Buffalo and Elephants) various springs attract animals such as Wildebeests, Gazelles, Reedbucks and countless bird species. You will stop to have lunch at a beautiful designated picnic area around noon. The Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most important protected areas in Africa, with a diverse eco-system, which boasts to be the home of 2-3 million wild animals. Ngorongoro is beautifully located with lakes, grasslands, swamps and forests on the escarpment, which give an impressive panoramic view of animals and scenery.
Overnight at your own designated hotel in Arusha ready for the next destination or a drop off at the airport for your Zanzibar flight and end of our safari offer itinerary.
