You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to Entebbe airport for your flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will be landing in Kihihi or Kisoro, thereafter making your way to your lodge where you will be for the night.

Overnight: Nkuringo Gorilla Camp | Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner

After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for registration and a briefing. You will then begin your gorilla trek, making your way into the forest in search of the gentle giants. You will be trekking through thick creepers and undergrowth, often in wet conditions, making for some challenging conditions. The time to find the gorillas can vary from 3-8 hours, depending on where they are situated. When you find them, you will get to sit with them for an hour, observing their behaviour and taking some photographs to capture your memories forever. You will then head back to your lodge, down through the forest for a tasty dinner and a good nights rest.

Wildlife encounters on a boat give a different perspective to game viewing and are made all the more rewarding with the multitude of bird species that will be seen along the banks. The cruise also takes you to some fishing villages in the park, allowing you to see how the local people co-exist in harmony, with the regions wildlife.
