On this camping safari visit Tanzania's big five wildlife areas of Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Serengeti National Parks, followed by Ngorongoro Crater. Accompanied by a driver/guide, the safari overnights in public campsites where you experience sleeping under canvas in dome tents.

In the morning after breakfast at 08:30 pick up from your hotel in Arusha town. Transfer to Tarangire National Park, 120 km which takes about one and half hours, for a full day’s game viewing. At around 12:30 you will have a stop for picnic lunch and afterwards proceed with game viewing. In the evening drive to your campsite for dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: Full board at budget campsite
After breakfast at 09:00 transfer to Lake Manyara National Park with your lunchbox for game viewing, a distance of 95 km which usually takes about one hour to the park gate. At around 12:30 stop for your picnic lunch and then continue with game viewing. In the evening drive to Twiga Lodge or Twiga Campsite for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at around 08:00 transfer to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation area with a packed lunch. The distance from Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park is 150 km to Ndutu area (the gate between Ngorongoro and Serengeti) and 250 km to Seronera (Serengeti central area), which usually takes about three and half hours of driving. Enjoy game viewing en route in Serengeti National Park. In the evening drive to Serengeti Seronera Pimbi Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early in the morning, have a light breakfast and afterwards at 06:00 go for an early morning game viewing drive. At around 09:15 drive back to Pimbi Campsite for a late breakfast. After breakfast take a lunchbox with you and proceed with game viewing in the park, stopping for lunch at around 12:30. Afterwards drive out of the Serengeti to Ngorongoro Olduvai Gorge, the archaeological site, and visit a Maasai Village. Spend about an hour at Olduvai and then proceed to Ngorongoro or Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight. The drive from Serengeti (Seronera) to Ngorongoro Conservation Area is 145 km and takes about two hours.

After breakfast at 08:00 descend down onto the crater floor for a full day crater tour. At around 12:30 you will have picnic lunch inside the crater near Lerai Forest or Hippo Pool. After lunch continue with game viewing in the crater. In the evening at around 16:00 ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha for your onward arrangements.
