Day by Day Overview

You will be met at the airport in Nairobi by one of our representatives and immediately begin your journey to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. You will drive through Narok before descending into the Great Rift Valley and reach the park in the early afternoon. Enjoy some lunch before heading out for your first game drive. Make your way to the famous Mara River that provides an abundance of water to the huge herds is also the place where the most dramatic wildlife scenes take place during the great wildebeest migration’s river crossing. Witness some exceptional sightings in the park before heading back to your camp for the evening.

Overnight at Enkorok Tented Camp: lunch & dinner

Today you will have a full day to explore the vast Masai Mara. Make your way to the Mara and Talek rivers and enjoy sightings of many crocodiles and hippos. The reserve, renowned for its big cat population, often provides beautiful sightings of lion, leopard and cheetah. If you are in luck, you may experience a kill alongside the river as the antelope come to drink. Optional activities today include a hot air balloon safari, a Maasai village visit or a guided bush walk. At the end of the day you will make your way back to camp for a well deserved dinner.

Overnight at Enkorok Tented Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner

Head out in the morning for your final morning drive in the Masai Mara for the opportunity to search for the big five and any animals you are yet to see. Later you will return to camp for some breakfast before making your way to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch and an optional boat cruise along the lake. Alternatively, you can enjoy a guided nature walk on Crescent Island for a chance to see some of the wild animals in the park, while on foot. The lake attracts many animals to its banks, including giraffe and large herds of buffalo that love to wallow in the mud. You will also see many hippos in the shallows, as they wait out the hot hours of the day in the water. If you wish, you will also have the opportunity to visit Hell’s Gate National Park for some various activities which include hiking, biking and rock climbing.

Overnight at Naivasha West Beach Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner

You will enjoy some breakfast at camp before leaving for Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch and your afternoon game drive. Amboseli is a magnificent park in the foot hills of Mount Kilimanjaro, offering stunning views of the iconic African peak. The reserve is home to some of Africa’s last big tuskers and over 420 bird species. Experience some amazing game sightings in the lush park and capture some dramatic photos of your memorable encounters with the imposing volcanic in the background. Later you will head back to camp for the evening.

Overnight at AA Lodge Tented Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner

Rise early to take in the breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro before the clouds build up over the summit and set out for your final morning game drive. Experience the waking bush and search for the animals that have eluded you before returning to camp for breakfast. You will then leave the park and make your way back to Nairobi, marking the end of your trip. You will be taken to the airport to catch your flight back home.
