Explore northern Tanzania's wildlife in three of its most famous national parks on a 4-day Tanzania camping safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Serengeti National Park is the largest national park, famous for its more than 1 million wildebeest roaming along with more than 250,000 zebras. Ngorongoro Crater is a highlight park with beautiful scenery and surreal views of the crater, making it easy to observe the animals at the bottom of the crater. Tarangire National Park is a miniature Serengeti but is famous for its large number of elephants.

This is your arrival date based on your starting location for your 4-day safari. Our safari experts and transfer drivers are stationed at Kilimanjaro or Arusha airports to meet you in Tanzania. A quick overview of your 4-day Tanzania safari.
Afterwards, head to the city of Arusha to relax and spend the night in preparation for your safari starting the next day. If you arrive early, you have the option of taking a short tour that includes visiting waterfalls, exploring villages, and sightseeing around town. You can enjoy these activities before your Tanzania safari begins the next day.
After breakfast, you’ll meet with one of our office representatives for a quick safari briefing. Then, you’ll embark on a pleasant 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. During the journey, you’ll enjoy picturesque views of grassy plains dotted with ancient baobab trees, traditional Maasai homes, and nomadic herders tending to their cattle.
In Tarangire National Park, you’ll get to witness its renowned features: the iconic ancient baobab trees, pythons that climb trees, and a large population of African elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After a picnic lunch in the middle of the day, your afternoon game drive continues. Later, you’ll head to your hotel, lodge, or camp for a satisfying dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we’ll drive to the fertile crater highlands, where the Iraq people grow wheat, corn, and coffee. We’ll pass by the Ngorongoro Crater on our way to the Serengeti National Park, arriving around midday.
The park offers diverse landscapes, including grassy plains, savannah, bushes, wetlands, mountains, lakes, and unique rock formations called Kopjes, which are great spots for spotting predators.
Depending on the season, you may witness the famous animal migration. During the short rainy season (November-December), herds move from the north hills to the southern plains. In the longer rainy season (April-June), they return north. This migration depends on the yearly rainfall and results in different herd locations. Your experienced guide will make sure you have the best chances to see these animals.
You’ll spend the night at either Kati Kati Tented Camp or Seronera Campsite in central Serengeti.
After breakfast, you’ll head out for an early morning game drive from 08:00 to 14:30 with a packed lunch. After that, we’ll continue our journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying more wildlife viewing along the way, and have dinner and stay overnight there.
After an early breakfast, you’ll descend more than 600 meters into the crater to see wildlife. At midday, you’ll have lunch at the bottom of the crater. Ngorongoro is one of the 8th Wonders of the World, and the crater is a crucial sanctuary for various animals.
You’ll often spot large herds of elephants and the rare black rhinos. The crater is also home to abundant wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, hippos, cape buffalos, lion prides, hyenas, serval cats, jackals, and nearly 400 bird species.
Later, you’ll either return to Arusha town or head straight to the airport.
