Created in 1950, Kenya's Aberdares National Park is located in the central highlands of Kenya in the lap of Aberdares Mountain range. The park is one of the few areas in Kenya with an untouched and indigenous forest reserve, an area of 766 sq km filled with lush green forests and incredible waterfalls. Located at an altitude of about 3,000 meters above sea level, the park offers a very rich experience of wildlife compared to any other national parks due to its dense forests and moorlands. Continuing on to Samburu National Reserve, explore along the banks of the Ewaso Nyiro river, where you are likely to see wildlife quenching their thirst.
From USD 640 per person
On reaching Aberdare National Park, you arrive at the beautiful Tree Top Ark hotel in the heart of the park. The hotel provides magnificent views of the park for a total experience of the surrounding nature. After the rooms have been allocated, a sumptuous lunch is orchestrated on the deck under the open heaven. Post lunch, you can enjoy the pleasure of viewing wildlife directly from the arc deck. At night there’s dinner and floodlight game viewing.
After an overnight stay in Tree Top Ark hotel, the next morning starts with an on deck breakfast before we head toward Samburu National Reserve. During the journey to Samburu, you will get to see the wildlife diversity of Kenya. Arrive at Samburu National Reserve by afternoon and our hospitable team will take care of your lunch and accommodation in one of the best lodge hotels in Samburu. After lunch and little bit of rest, it’s time for the evening game drive into Samburu Game Reserve. Post game-drive, there is dinner before you head to your cozy rooms.
The third day of our travel itinerary is dedicated entirely to exploring Samburu National Reserve. The morning starts with an early breakfast following a morning game drive in a 4×4 into the wilderness of Samburu National Reserve. The morning game drive will take you to the bank of River Ewaso Nyiro, where you could see myriads of wild animals flocking at the river bank to pacify their thirst. The morning game drive ends with a lunch at a camp and after a little bit of rest and game viewing from camp, it is time for an evening game drive which ends at the lodge hotel with dinner.
The trip concludes at Samburu National Reserve with a night stay at the lodge hotel accompanied by a morning breakfast. The next morning our tour guide will drive you back to Nairobi, viewing the Kenya’s wildlife and beautiful vistas along the way.
