Day by Day Overview
Today you will depart from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in south western Uganda, which takes 6-7 hours. The journey is enjoyable as you drive through the beautiful scenery of landscape, hills and plantations all the way to the Virunga Massive as well as crossing the equator. Don’t forget to get your cameras ready to capture beautiful moments.
After early morning breakfast you will drive to UWA headquarters be briefed before proceeding on the gorilla tracking adventure. After finding the gorilla family you will spend one hour with them, observing their behaviors and taking photos before you return to the headquarters to get your tracking certificate.
On this day you will return to Entebbe for your departure. You will have a stop over at the equator to buy souvenirs, take photos and relax before continuing to Entebbe airport.
