Day by Day Overview
Your guide will pick you from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and you start your journey to Murchison Falls. Stopover at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for white rhino trekking. Here you shall have a wonderful experience tracking the southern white rhinos. Afterwards have lunch at Kabalega Resort and later proceed straight to your lodge where you check in and have a power nap. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After breakfast, have an early drive for bird watching and game viewing along the Albert Nile. Here expect to see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, water buck and a large number of bird species. Afterwards go back to the lodge for lunch and prepare for a boat cruise. From the boat expect to see varied bird life and wildlife often grazing and wallowing at the river banks. You may also hike to the top of the falls for a close view – this experience brings all the senses into play: watch water tumble hypnotically, listen to the roar, taste the spray on your face and feel the rock shake beneath your feet. Head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
