This three-day, two-night safari takes you to Mikumi National Park, situated on the northern border of Selous Game Reserve (Africa’s largest national park). It is transected by a surface road between Dar es Salaam and Iringa, making it the most accessible part of a 75,000km (47,000 mile) tract of wilderness that stretches east almost as far as the Indian Ocean.

Day by Day Overview
Depart Dar es Salaam at 07:00 hrs for Mikumi National Park with a picnic lunch box. Upon arrival you will go on a game drive until the late afternoon and then drive to Tanapa Bandazi (located inside the park) for a delicious dinner and your overnight stay.
Go on morning and afternoon game drives to various areas within Mikumi, including Mkata, Chamgore (where pythons roam) and the Mkata flood plain. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Mikumi Bandazi. The bandazi’s location within the park gives you the option of going on an evening game drive.
Go on a morning game drive then have lunch in the hotel before the journey back to Dar es Salaam at 14:00 hrs.
