Day by Day Overview

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 am and drive west to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Have lunch en route and arrive in time for an evening game drive. The Masai Mara Game Reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary, with well over 450 species of animals recorded here including migrants. Although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is fantastic  resident wildlife year round while the famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight accommodation at the campsite.

After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as its extensive road and track network allows for close range game viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight accommodations at the campsite.

Early morning head off to with your guide to search for wildlife in the reserve. Return to the lodge for breakfast after which you depart to Nairobi with lunch en route. Arrive in the evening and drop off at the airport or your hotel.
