This is a short trip organized to see the mountain gorillas found in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in the south west of Uganda. Accommodation is in a basic lodge, which includes a private toilet and private shower with hot running water. Day by Day Overview
Our guide will pick you at your hotel after breakfast and then depart from Entebbe/Kampala by road and head southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Have a stopover for some informative talk and a splendid photographic opportunity at the Equator and then continue to Mbarara town for lunch. Travel through the rolling green hills of banana and Ttea plantations and head to the national park. Dinner and overnight at choice of accommodation.
- Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Camp (mid-range lodge located just outside Bwindi Impenetrable NP)
- Meals & Drinks: All meals included
- All drinks (premium wines & liquors might be excluded)
Early morning breakfast then with your packed lunch you will report to the park headquarters for a briefing from the park officials. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three-quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. One hour is allowed with the gorillas for photography and observation as they paly, feed and groom. Dinner and overnight as the previous night.

After an early morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for your flights out later in the evening or a post-night can be organized in either Kampala or Entebbe.
