On your way to Murchison Falls National Park, you will branch off to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking; this is one of the most thrilling activities in Uganda. Afterwards, you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park, your first tourist attraction in the park being the top of the Falls. It is an exciting experience that brings you very close to the rushing whitewater as it squeezes itself through the narrow crevice below. The resulting mist from the turbulence often produces rainbows.

Expect To See: Lions, Leopards, buffaloes, waterbucks, Rothschid’s giraffe, oribi, baboons, hippo, crocodiles, antelopes and various bird species.
You will set off very early in the morning at 6:00 am for a morning game drive. Other activities on this game drive include bird watching and sightseeing across the open savannah, dotted woodland and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert delta. After the game drive, you will head back to your hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, you embark (between 2pm and 4pm) on a three hour boat cruise on the Nile. This boat cruise offers an amazing view of the Falls from the bottom angle. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the river. Afterwards, you will head back to the lodge for an evening game drive.

After breakfast, you will travel from Murchison Falls National Park, driving southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the Great Western Rift Valley. Drive through Hoima, then Kyejonjo district and reach the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon,” the Rwenzori. You will either have lunch here or on your way. Next stop is Kibale National Park; a haven with Uganda’s largest concentration of chimpanzees. Uganda has highest number of chimpanzee in the world, which is about 4950 chimpanzees and Kibale National Park is home to about 1500 chimpanzees.

On arrival in Kibale, drive to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a community walk and cultural interaction. It is an fascinating area, located in Magombe swamp. This area is recognized for an extensive array of biodiversity among which are several primates species like the red colobus monkey, baboon, black and white colobus monkey, blue monkey grey cheeked, mangabey, vervet monkey, red tailed monkey and the L’Hoest monkey. Additional Mammals such as sitatunga, mongooses, bush pigs, otters plus bush bucks.

Kyaninga Lodge (luxury) is nestled on the edge of an extinct volcanic crater lake at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains. The lodge provides free laundry services.
The tracking will start early and takes about two to three hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees.

After breakfast, visit the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves and the three surrounding explosion Crater Lakes, learning about the local culture and legends, plus a hike around the three crater lakes. After visiting Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves, you will continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a huge park where wildlife and people coexist in harmony, with lunch on the way.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is the largest biotic area in Africa. It is a habitat for variety of flora and fauna, hippo, tree-climbing lions, elephants, swamp antelope, Uganda-kobs, topis, water bucks, bush bucks, reed bucks, duiker, and many other animal species. It is a home to over 95 species of mammals and over 600 species of birds. The park is also Uganda’s most popular tourist destination.
On arrival in Queen Elizabeth National Park you will go for a boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Some of the best wildlife viewing is done on this boat cruise, passing squacco herons, pied kingfishers, large numbers of buffalo and hippo (over 300 hippos are found in the lake), basking crocodiles and many different bird species and large mammals. This is one of the most memorable experiences in the park.
After the boat ride, you will go for an evening game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park aiming to catch the lions hunting in the evening. Lions usually hunt when the temperatures are cooler. We also expect to see the Uganda kob, elephants, buffalo, warthog, leopard and waterbuck.

After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Ishasha sector in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where the tree climbing lions live on the Kasenyi Plains, among the highlights of a safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the southern section of this park, the lions are now and again spotted hanging on branches of huge fig trees whereas the Uganda Kob (which are the major food to these lions) graze in the plains of the Ishasha sector.
After the game drive in Ishasha it is time to move to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the famous mountain gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to over 346 bird species, 120 mammal species, 400 plant species, 27 frog species among others and covering an area of 331 sq km. Check in at your lodge for lunch and then embark on a community walk where you will visit the Batwa, which is an indigenous group of people that has lived in the forest for 500,000 years, enjoy traditional dances and drama from them.

After breakfast, head out to the park’s head office with your guide for a briefing about the Do’s and Don’ts while in the park with gorillas. Then you will have mountain gorilla trekking in the jungles of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Did know that Uganda has the highest percentage of Mountain Gorillas in the world? There are currently less than 1200 mountain gorillas left in the world and almost half of the population resides in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, the Pearl of Africa. Gorilla trekking is one of the top activities while on a safari. Trek through the mist rain forest, which can take from 2 hours up to 6 hours, based on the location of the gentle giants. Make sure you carry enough water, lunches, sturdy shoes, non-flash cameras, and rain jackets.
At the end of this long and exciting adventure, return to our lodge for a well-deserved shower. Have your lunch, relax and thereafter check out in the evening for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, a twisting water body dotted with 29 islands with various shapes and sized scattered across the water – an amazing sight.

After breakfast, you will relax at your hotel until lunch time. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m). It is probably is the second deepest lake in Africa and one of the few African lakes completely safe for swimming – there is no bilharzia.
After lunch, you will head out for zip lining; this activity is done over the lake. You will have another interesting activity; here you still stretch your muscles as you have the Ninja warrior.

Depart for Jinja at 6:00am with a packed breakfast, travelling through Mabira forest, a rainforest area covering about 300 square kilometres. It is home for many endangered species like the primate Lophocebus Uganda.

On arrival in Jinja, you will go for white water rafting on the rapids, an adventure and unforgettable experience. The Nile River has its source in Jinja where it starts the 4000 km through different African countries. After white water rafting, you will check in at your hotel for lunch. Lake Nakuru National Park’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingos and over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the, at times millions, of flamingos is quite spectacular and from a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The park has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are also all residents here.

After breakfast, depart for an early morning game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of Kenya’s renowned soda lakes and is world-famous for attracting millions of flamingos to its alkaline shores. Feeding on the abundant algae that grows in the warm and shallow waters, witnessing these legions of fuchsia-pink flamingos is a sight to behold. After the morning drive, transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve, passing through the floor of the rift valley and arriving in the evening.

After breakfast spend half a day in the park with packed lunch in search of its well-known predators and their opponents like the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo and other animal species. It is in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place – the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture.
