Day by Day Overview
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha/Moshi and be taken to the Tarangire National Park. You can explore as much of the park as you wish on an extensive game drive. Stop for a picnic lunch before continuing with an afternoon of further game viewing. The park is home an enormous amount of animals and over 450 species of birds. Later you will head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will be able to see the Great Rift Valley. Explore the park surrounded by the massive crater rim that creates a massive natural enclosure, housing a huge concentration of wild animals. The reserve is undoubtedly the best place to see black rhino, as well as the prides of lion with magnificent black-maned males. In addition, you will see thousands of pink flamingoes along the lake and filling the skies as they take flight. In the late afternoon, you will leave the crater and drive back to Moshi/Arusha.
