Join our professional tour guide/driver in Moshi town for a brief safari introduction before setting off to Lake Manyara National Park. Arriving in time for lunch at the lodge, we’ll refuel before venturing into the park itself. Lake Manyara National Park, with its remarkable location, is one of Tanzania’s most captivating wildlife areas. It comprises a vast, shallow soda lake (occupying two-thirds of the park) at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s diverse habitat is home to an array of animals, including one of Africa’s largest elephant populations, the renowned tree-climbing lions of Manyara, and massive flocks of flamingos drawn to the lake’s algae. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay according to the chosen accommodation option.
Following breakfast, we’ll descend 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a morning half-day game drive. The crater is among the most densely populated African wildlife areas and is home to approximately 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. With a year-round water supply and ample food, Ngorongoro National Park sustains a wide variety of animals, such as herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. The park’s picturesque landscape also supports a dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which may require a keen eye to spot. After a picnic lunch in the crater, we’ll return to Moshi, concluding our African safari adventure. Upon arrival at your hotel, our safari package services will come to an end. The departure dates for all our African safaris, tours, and packages are entirely flexible based on your personal preferences.
