Overnight at Cassia Lodge: dinner
An early breakfast before leaving for Jinja for a white water rafting experience on the Nile. The rafting will take you on a 31 km journey downstream and includes a barbecue lunch and drinks after your trip. This can be a full day or half day raft depending on what you choose. You can also visit Jinja’s local markets for some souvenir shopping.
Overnight at Cassia Lodge: breakfast, lunch & dinner
Today your safari will begin, taking you on a panoramic drive through the famous Luwero Triangle. Stop over at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for some rhino tracking and later have lunch in Masindi. In the afternoon continue to the Murchison Falls National Park where you will have a chance to look down from the top of the falls and see the beautiful Nile below. The river is compressed from 50 metres into a 7 metre canyon known as the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’. Later make your way to your camp for sunset.
Overnight at Murchison River Lodge: breakfast, lunch & dinner
Early in the morning, your guide will take you for a game drive on the northern side of the river to spot various animals drinking from the banks. The animals could include elephants, lion and buffalo among numerous antelope species and giraffe. Return back to your lodge for breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a boat cruise upstream to the base of the falls stopping just short of the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’. Have a chance to marvel at the hippos and crocodiles in the water. You will also get to see many bird species like the Goliath Heron, Egyptian Geese and various kingfishers. After the cruise return to your camp for the evening.
Overnight at Murchison River Lodge: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After an early breakfast, you will make your way to Kibale, passing through Hoima and Fort Portal with views of the lush green countryside, tea plantations, traditional homesteads and farms resting in the shadows of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon”.
Overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast, your guide will take you to Kibale National Park to enjoy a guided primate walk through the forest in search of chimpanzees and 12 other primates including the Red Colobus and the Gray-Cheeked Mangabey. The guide will provide detailed information on the primates and other forest fauna and flora, providing you with a walk that is both informative and enjoyable. After lunch, you will visit the local community and take a walk in the Bigodi Swamp, home to the great Blue Turaco. Later return to your accommodation for dinner.
Overnight at Mountains of the Moon Hotel: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast, you will start the day with a cultural tour of the ‘Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru’ caves, a cave site located 10 km from Fort Portal. After the caves you will hike to the volcanic crater lakes surrounding this area. Later return to Fort Portal for lunch and visit the Tooro Kingdom Palace. In the evening, drive to Uganda’s second largest park, the Queen Elizabeth National Park while enjoying views of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain Range.
Overnight at Kasenyi Safari Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast enjoy an early morning game drive in the park with the massive Rwenzori Mountains in the background. The park allows for great game viewing opportunities and the chance to see many animals including the elusive leopard. Queen Elizabeth National Park’s diverse eco-systems include grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters and is home to an incredible abundance and variety of wildlife. After lunch enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel making your way into Lake Edward. This trip passes through one of the highest concentration of hippos in the world. The cruise offers excellent photographic opportunities of over 600 species of bird life.

After your breakfast you will be transferred to the southern sector of the park, Ishasha. Here you will have the opportunity to view the giant forest hog and the legendary tree-climbing lions.
Overnight at Ishasha Jungle Lodge: breakfast, lunch & dinner
Today you will make your way to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park passing through the Kigezi Highlands, known as the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ with its terraced hillside and winding roads. Stopover in Kabale for lunch.
Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
The Biwindi Rain Forest is spectacular. It offers a dramatic landscape with incredibly dense jungle, crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to visitors. The forest is home to the magnificent mountain gorillas that you will get to see. The trek time varies depending on the movements of the primates and the weather but normally lasts between 2-6 hours. The thrill of observing these beautiful gorillas up close is something you will never forget. The gorilla is a shy and peaceful animal and you will get to watch them as they interact with each other for an hour.
Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast, your tour guide will take you to Lake Bunyonyi which is also located in the Kigezi Region. Here you will get to enjoy boat rides in dug-out canoes, swimming, sunbathing, hiking or mountain bike riding.
Overnight at Acardia Cottages: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After an early breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Enter the park through the Nshara Gate and enjoy an afternoon game drive along the lake shore track. With its own system of game trails and cleared walkways the Kigambara Loop offers interesting guided lakeside walks. Find herds of zebra, buffalo and eland. You can also enjoy a boat trip on Lake Mburo, if you choose. Birdwatchers will enjoy the 250 bird species found in the reserve.
Overnight at Mburo Safari Lodge: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast you will go on a bush walk and have an opportunity to see the reserve’s hyenas in their cave-den if you are willing to get up early. Due to cattle herding in the area, you can experience the amusing sight of zebra grazing alongside the long-horned cattle. After returning for lunch you will drive back to Kampala stopping at the Mpigi Royal-Drum makers where you will be able to watch ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through the generations. You will also stop at the equator for photographs. Arrive in Kampala in the early evening.
Overnight at Cassia Lodge: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast proceed for a tour of Kampala. You will see the Uganda Museum, Craft Center, Owino Market, Kibuli Mosque, Namirembe Cathedral and other areas of cultural interest like the Buganda Kingdom Palace (Bulange). Later you will be taken to Entebbe International Airport for you flight back home.
