Upon landing at Entebbe airport, our staff will be waiting to warmly welcome you and assist with the transfer to your accommodation in either Entebbe or Kampala, depending on your arrival time. In the case of late arrival, we highly recommend an overnight stay in Entebbe instead of Kampala. Should you have some free time, we offer a couple of optional activities that you may enjoy:
I. City Tour: Take the opportunity to explore the vibrant and bustling Kampala city, full of historical and political sites to uncover, including the ancient tombs of the Kabaka’s and Amin’s torture chambers.
II. Culinary Delights: Kampala is renowned for its diverse and delicious cuisine. Venture out of your hotel to sample some of the region’s finest culinary experiences, including the mouth-watering Kampala Indian foods.

Today we are heading to the Ishasha sector, where we’ll have the chance to spot the incredible tree-climbing lions. These majestic creatures are located in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park and are at their most active during the early hours of the morning. We’ll start the day with an exciting game drive, followed by a delicious lunch break. In the afternoon, we’ll go on another thrilling game drive before settling down for a scrumptious dinner. Early morning embark on a gorilla trek through the lush rainforest. As you make your way through the verdant foliage, keep your eyes peeled for these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Please note that trek times can vary as these are wild animals. If you have some free time in the afternoon, there are a variety of unique activities to participate in that are exclusive to Bwindi.
Optional Activities
I. The awe-inspiring Batwa Trail, where the Batwa tribe will demonstrate their hunting techniques, show you how to gather honey, point out medicinal plants, and teach you how to make bamboo cups. Afterward, guests will have the opportunity to be entertained by traditional music and dance in the sacred Ngarama Cave, which was once the home of the Batwa King.
II. Village Walk, where you can take in the breathtaking views of Bwindi’s Impenetrable Forest while meeting a traditional healer who not only treats the sick but also uses his knowledge of local plants to cure ailments.
Dinner and Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp or similar
Welcome to Lake Bunyonyi, also known as the “Place of many little birds” – a true gem in the heart of Africa. With its tranquil waters, this lake is the perfect spot to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Did you know that Lake Bunyonyi is rumored to be the deepest lake in Africa, with depths reaching up to 900 meters? The lake stretches for about 25 km in length and is 7 meters wide, with 29 picturesque islands dotted throughout. While it’s tempting to simply bask in the sun by the water, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained, like taking a boat ride to the different islands, bird watching, and even a leisurely bike ride in the afternoon.
Get ready for another exciting adventure as you spend a night at Lake Mburo National Park. This vast park spans over 371 sq km and boasts a unique ecosystem that sets it apart from other Ugandan parks. Here, you’ll find a diverse range of wildlife including eland, antelope, zebra, topi and impala. The park’s five lakes are also home to a variety of water birds, hippos and crocodiles, while the surrounding swamps conceal black and yellow papyrus gonalek. Upon arriving at the park, you’ll have the chance to refuel with a delicious lunch before embarking on an unforgettable game drive through the park. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings along the way!
Optional Activities
I. Explore the park on horseback with a horseback riding safari. Suitable for all levels of riders, including beginners, this is a unique and exciting way to experience the park.
II. Take a relaxing boat safari along Lake Mburo and witness the dense populations of hippos and crocodiles up close.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we’ll make our way to Entebbe, stopping for a delightful lunch along the way. One of the highlights of the trip will be our stop at the Equator, where you can stand in both hemispheres simultaneously! We’ll arrive in Entebbe in the afternoon, leaving you with plenty of time for your evening return journey back home.
