Day by Day Overview
An early morning briefing and pick up from your hotel before departing for the Masai Mara National Reserve. We will make our way to the park via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and stop-off in Narok for lunch. Arriving in the reserve for an evening game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your guide. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
Have a full day of game drives in the reserve, discovering all that it has to offer. Enjoy a bush picnic lunch by the hippo pool while looking at the hippos and crocodiles. You will have an opportunity to visit a Masai village as an optional activity. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with an en-route lunch with beautiful views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha in the distance. Dinner and overnight at a hotel.
Enjoy a morning game drive in the park known for its abundant bird-life including thousands of flamingos. The park contains a rhino sanctuary to help with the conservation efforts associated with these beautiful animals. Later drive to Amboseli National Park where you will have dinner and overnight at one of the campsites.
A full day of game drives in the park allows you to discover a huge variety of wildlife including the big cats, antelope and birds with the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro if weather conditions permit. Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to the campsite for dinner.
After breakfasts depart for Arusha in Tanzania, making your way through the Namanga border post. Once through immigration, board a shuttle bus to Arusha which will arrive in the afternoon. Spend the evening in a hotel in Arusha.
After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park and enjoy an en-route lunch before arriving at the park in time for an evening game drive. The park is famous for its tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos which you can see. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
After breakfast you will leave the park and depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a packed lunch on the journey before arriving at the crater. The main crater is 165 km wide and contains large populations of diverse wildlife including the famed black-maned lions, elephants and many others. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
After breakfast enjoy another game drive before departing for the Serengeti National Park making your way via the Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at gorge museum and after lunch you can visit the gorge as an optional activity. Thereafter proceed to the park for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
An early breakfast before enjoying your final game drive of the trip and leaving the Serengeti National Park. The park is filled with a vast number of animals including masses of wildebeest that migrate across its famous plains every year. Later make your way to Arusha with an en-route lunch and arrive at your hotel in the early evening in time for dinner.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and catch a shuttle to Nairobi in Kenya. You will arrive in the afternoon and be dropped off at your the hotel or at the airport. We can also arrange a flight out of Tanzania directly and add on to this trip, taking you to Zanzibar for a beach safari should you be interested. Additional charges will apply.
