After breakfast and a briefing about birding set off to Mabamba Wetland which is the nearest site for the shoebill, lesser jacana, blue swallow, black-shouldered nightjar, afep pigeon, blue breasted bee-water, papyrus gonolek and white winged warbler. In the afternoon visit the botanical gardens which is another bird haven in Entebbe.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Mburo National Park, with a stop over to look at the royal drum makers and stand on the Equator before continuing to Lake Mburo National Park. Upon arrival, check in and have lunch. Afterwards you will embark on an evening nature walk to see the unique fauna, gigantic eland antelope, as well as zebra, topi, impala, hippos, crocodiles and several acacia associated bird and a variety of water birds.

After an early breakfast head out on a game drive to find bird species such as the brown chested plover, red faced barbet, southern ground hornbill, papyrus yellow warbler, yellow billed oxpecker, African fin foot, black collard barbet and much more. Enjoy an afternoon boat trip and later an evening game drive before retiring at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest best known for its mountain gorillas while the montane forest also attracts spectacular birds. Take a nature walk through Munyanga Waterfall, discover primates such as the grey cheeked mangabey, blue monkeys and others species. Dinner and overnight.

Whole day bird watching in Bwindi Forest to Mubwindi Swamp and later transfer to Buhoma birding en-route, then overnight.

After an early breakfast you set off on your gorilla tracking adventure at 8.00 am. We recommend that you wear good walking shoes and carry a rain jacket and flask of water. Tracking can be tough and we trust you are in reasonably fit condition. You will carry a picnic lunch into the forest with you. You will be thrilled to have seen these rare primates (no guarantee) and the return journey will be easier.

After breakfast transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a home of different bird species. You’ll enjoy bird watching here as well as seeing the elephants, hippos and many more animal species.

After breakfast, enjoy a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, when you can view wildlife up close such as hippos, buffalo and a tremendous variety of birds that grace the grasses on the river’s edge.

After an early breakfast, you leave for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains and Ishasha Sector to see if you can spot the tree climbing lions as well as many bird species. Return to the lodge afterwards, check out and transfer back to Kampala. Upon arrival, you will be dropped at a place of your choice or transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your outbound flight.
