Arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary with an opportunity to track and get really close to white rhinos allowing for amazing photos. Rhinos are an endangered species and this sanctuary is helping protect them. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park to your lodge for the evening.
Begin your exploration of the park with a game drive in the northern region of the park making your way across the beautiful open plains. An array of wildlife including leopard and elephant can be found here as well as many bird species for some spectacular bird viewing. Begin your trek as you search for Man’s closest cousins in the forest. The time to find the chimps will depend on the weather and where they were last seen but enjoy primate sightings along the way in the canopy above you. Once you find the chimps, observe them for an hour and watch their fascinating interactions with one another. After your expedition, enjoy some lunch and relax at your lodge before an evening walk around the park for some bird watching and to meet some of the locals.
