Day by Day Overview
Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a brief welcoming note by our driver-guide, you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure at your hotel.

After your breakfast, you will be met by our driver take you through your safari briefing before departing for the dramatic semi-arid scrub land of the Northern Frontier. Arrival in Samburu will be by lunch time. After lunch embark on a game drive to see the resident wildlife species like the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx and the blue-necked Somali ostrich, which are rare elsewhere in the country. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Today you will spend a full day in the Samburu National Park. You will have early morning and evening game drives. The highlights of Samburu Game Reserve is the spectacular scenic beauty, rivers and forests. The reserves have numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife which includes reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Many bird species have been identified here.

After an early breakfast, you will depart and drive to Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch and afternoon at leisure. Visit the fresh water lake for an optional hour boat ride ($30 per person) for bird watching and hippo viewing. Return later drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Depart after breakfast for Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will drive past the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment and the Suswa plains before arriving at the reserve in time for lunch. Take a well-deserved break before proceeding for your first game drive later in the evening. Dinner and overnight at your camp.

Enjoy a full day of game drives with a picnic lunch in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will be on a mission to find the Big Five as well as plenty of other wildlife as you interact with the entire flora and fauna that make this ecosystem complete. You will be back at your camp in the afternoon. Enjoy the rest of the day relaxing at your camp. Dinner and overnight at your camp.
