Amani Hostel offers volunteer project placements and internship opportunities in Tanzania, based in and around the town of Arusha, in northern Tanzania. Arusha is a popular destination for travelers and serves as the main gateway for safari adventures, as tourism plays a major role in the town’s economy.

All Amani Hostel volunteers in Tanzania stay with local host families, giving them the opportunity to experience Tanzanian life from a local perspective. This cultural immersion provides a meaningful and authentic experience that is very different from staying in the luxury hotels commonly associated with the safari industry.
