A trip to remember
I came to Rwanda early this year and the weather was good for
vacation. Thanks to the VIRUNGA PROGRAMS, for the three
days my family and I stayed here, we were able to see the iconic Land
of Thousand Hill in its true splendor. Trekking the Mountain Gorillas
at the Volcanoes National Park was the highlight of our tour. The
staff at Virunga Community Programs was very cordial and understanding
to our special needs. Considering this was the first time we were
visiting the country, it was a miracle that we never, at any time,
felt out of place. We thank them profusely for making us feel at home
away from our home

I have been visiting Rwanda once a year. This is a place that once it hooks you, you’ve no way to run away from it. I have been using different tour operators to plan for my itineraries, but when I visited early this year I was recommended by a friend to Virunga Community Programs. The service I received from them was unparalleled, even from my previous visits. They take their business seriously, and they have a way of making you feel at home. I was taken to the country’s amazing attractions like Nyungwe Forest, Lake Kivu and we ventured deep into Goma, Akagera National Park and the Volcanoes National Park for gorilla trekking ( and despite the increase in gorilla permits, I hardly felt the pinch since their services was just amazing). I plan to visit again next year with a group of my friends and we have already made arrangements for the tour! Good services should be praised…
