Explore the Natural Wonder of the majestic Victoria Falls with 3 nights at Gorges Lodge on the edge of the Batoka Gorge. The Zimbabwe side of Victoria Falls is a well managed tourist destination and is safe and easy to walk around without a car or a guide. Gorges Lodge, famous for its spectacular views of the Batoka Gorge and the rushing waters of the Zambezi River below, is described by some as the best in southern Africa. Pre-bookable activities are available or you can book on arrival. White water rafting, bungee jumping, microlight flights as well as exciting fishing expeditions, river cruises and visits to the surrounding National Parks. Elephant and warthog are regularly seen wandering through the local town.
You will be met on arrival at Victoria Falls Airport. It's then just a 30 minute road transfer to your lodge. At Gorges Lodge activities include: guided tour of the Victoria Falls (Victoria Falls park entry fee included), sundowner cruise (river usage fee included), gorge-edge walk, black eagle viewing with sundowners. Guided tour of the craft village, visit to a local primary school (excluding school holidays).
Road transfer to Dete railway station and jump aboard the Elephant Express tram to Bomani Tented Camp and check in for three nights on a fully inclusive basis. Bomani is a comfortable, well-appointed lodge nestled in a remote corner of Hwange National Park in our 5000 acre private reserve, famous for its impressive herds of elephant.
