Along the banks of the river look out for hippos and crocodiles while there are unique bird species for avid bird watchers.
After an early breakfast leave the national park and proceed in the direction of Fort Portal traversing along the Great Rift Valley with the Rwenzori Mountain ranges seen at a good range as you progress to Fort Portal town.
