Day by Day Overview
Our tour guide will meet and greet you at the airport (IKIA) and then you will be transferred to your hotel for a rest. In the afternoon you will visit the National Museum of Iran, where you can see astonishing historical objects from the 5th millennium BC to the advent of Islam in Iran which shows a brief history of our Land.

Today we head to Damghan to visit Tarik Khaneh Mosque. We continue on to Qala Bala village which is a special village in our country where the courtyards and roofs in this village both serve as pedestrian areas similar to streets. We can walk around the village, gardens and local shops.

Enjoy a full day tour of Khar Touran National Park. After breakfast, go trekking and enjoy sightseeing, viewing and photographing the natural beauty of the park. Khar Touran National Park at 1.4 million hectares is the second largest reserve in Iran. It is home to one of the largest populations of the critically endangered Asiatic cheetah with about 12-15 of these charismatic cats in the national park area. In addition, Khar Touran has the largest population of Persian onager and two species of gazelles, the goitered gazelle and the Indian gazelle, both in good numbers. There are also wild sheep and wild goats, jebeer, ibex and urial sheep. You have time to walk in the sand dunes before we return to Qala Bala village.

Today we drive to Golestan National Park, the oldest and largest national park in Iran and one of 50 UNESCO biosphere reserves in the world. At first, we head to the eastern part of the park and visit Alme Valley where we see deer. We’ll stay in the Solegerd’s police station in the northeast of the park which has a great bivouac.

Today we head to Golbagh in the west part of the park, doing some walking and a little mountain climbing around the Golestan National Park at Tange Gol Guesthouse (the previous King’s villa) and visiting the Mirza Bayloue’s Natural History Museum. In the afternoon we leave this remarkable national park and drive to Gorgan with a short stop on our way to visit Gonbad-e Qabus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the end of day, we will visit Gorgan Old Bazaar before flying back to Tehran.
