Day by Day

Day 01 – Arrive Mumbai

On arrival our representative shall meet you at the airport to welcome you and transfer you to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 – Mumbai – Nagpur - Pench

After breakfast at the hotel transfer to the airport for flight to Nagpur. Once in Nagpur, drive to Pench where you check-in at the hotel. Pench National Park is situated in Seoni and Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh in India. It derives its name from the Pench River that flows through the national park from north to south dividing the park into almost equal western and eastern halves - the well forested areas of Seoni and Chhindwara districts respectively. Day free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B)(L)(D)

Day 03 – Pench

Explore the teak forests and open country of Pench National Park on morning and afternoon jeep safaris. Bisected by the meandering Pench River, the park supports a rich variety of wildlife including tiger, leopard, wild dog, sambar and chital deer and brilliant birdlife. The park’s open habitat not only lends itself to wildlife viewing, but it also offers striking views of the area’s sheer beauty. (B)(L)(D)

Day 04 – Pench – Kanha

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kanha National Park, the largest national park in Central India and a tiger reserve. The park has a significant population of Royal Bengal tiger, leopards, the sloth bear, barasingha and Indian wild dog. The lush sal and bamboo forests, grassy meadows and ravines of Kanha provided inspiration to Rudyard Kipling for his famous novel Jungle Book. Upon arrival proceed for check-in at the hotel for an overnight stay. (B)(L)(D)

Day 05 – Kanha

Embark on morning and afternoon jeep safaris into Kanha National Park – the star success story of the conservation effort Project Tiger launched in 1973. Regularly spotted species include the three-striped palm squirrel, common langur, jackal, wild pig and black buck. Among other residents are striped hyena, leopard, mouse deer, porcupine, chinkara gazelle, ant-eating pangolin, sambar, chital and the highly endangered deer, the hard-ground barasingha. (B)(L)(D)

Day 06 – Kanha – Bandhavgarh

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Bandhavgarh National Park, one of the popular national parks in India located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. The park derives its name from the most prominent hillock of the area, which is said to be given by Hindu Lord Rama to his brother Lakshmana to keep a watch on Lanka (Sri Lanka). Hence the name Bandhavgarh (Sanskrit: Brother's Fort). This park has a large biodiversity and the density of the tiger population here is one of the highest known in India. It also has a large breeding population of leopards and various species of deer. It was in this region that Maharaja Martand Singh of Rewa captured the first white tiger in 1951, which is now stuffed and on display in the palace of the Maharajas of Rewa. Upon arrival proceed for check-in at the hotel for your overnight stay. (B)(L)(D)

Day 07 – Bandhavgarh

The day is entirely booked for game viewing via elephant/jeep safari in the tiger reserve. Don’t forget to visit the majestic Bandhavgarh Fort. Stay overnight at the resort. (B)(L)(D)

Day 08 – Bandhavgarh – Khajuraho

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Khajuraho. The Khajuraho Group of Monuments is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India, with one of the largest groups of medieval Hindu and Jain temples, famous for their erotic sculptures. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Khajuraho Group of Monuments is considered to be one of the "seven wonders" of India. Upon arrival proceed for check-in at the hotel for your overnight stay. (B)

Day 09 – Khajuraho – Delhi and departure

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Khajuraho visiting the Eastern & Western Group of temples. Later board your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, transfer to the International Airport for your onward flight. (B)
