Day by Day Overview
7.00 am – your guide and the driver will collect from your hotel for a long day ‘s drive on good and paved road following the national way N°7 and 34. Stop at Antsirabe town to visit a local factory (zebu horn), and Madagascar precious stone, and other handmade miniature. Continue on our route to Miandrivazo village with a break en route for lunch and landscape photography.

6:00 am – this morning you’ll have an early start to avoid the heat of the sun for a one-hour drive (20 km on good roads and 11 km off-road). We will take you to the river port, where you board your private motorboat with our crew. During this river trip, you will see various species of river birds, including whistling ducks, egrets, herons, and helmeted guinea fowls, as well as crocodiles and local fishermen and farming villages.
We will serve lunch on board, prepared by our cook, allowing you to enjoy fresh, warm local food while relaxing. You will spot the deciduous forest along the gorge and then take a break to swim in the blue natural pool, where you can also enjoy the waterfall of Anosinampela, which means “Girl Island.” The cruise continues along the river, offering different views and landscapes. You’ll have the opportunity to take a walk in the fishing village to observe their daily life. At night, you can experience the breathtaking view of the galaxy and the Milky Way stars while enjoying dinner around the campfire, surrounded by nature.

7:30 am – leave the camp after your breakfast to continue our cruise down the Tsiribihina River. Some miles ahead, the landscape turns into a succession of green fertile plains and baobab forests, with the fisherman fields. Lunch will be served on the boat before getting to our private 4wd car to Bekopaka village! From here, the drive will take us about 4hrs on dusty off road. Cross the ferry boat on Manambolo River then head to your hotel. The rest of the day at your leisure.

7:30 am – head off with a picnic lunch to Big Tsingy. The guide and the driver will find your tickets and your local guide then drive you for 1hr on off-road to get the starting point of the hike. Here, depending on your choice, you can do the longest hike that will offer you a climb up on the amazing landscapes of limestone, cathedral view, caves, moving bridge, and narrow path, your guide will tell you the best place for your picnic lunch in the middle of the limestone. Drive back after lunch to see some caves of Vazimba and spot the sun set on the small Tsingy side with the limestone rock. Back to the hotel in the afternoon and the rest of the day at your leisure.

7:30 am – after enjoying your meal, your driver and knowledgeable guide will take you on a scenic journey back to Belo village, where lush valleys, small villages, and friendly locals create a lively backdrop rich in cultural insights. You’ll indulge in a fulfilling lunch at local eateries, savoring traditional Malagasy dishes like “Romazava” or “Ravitoto,” before heading to the ferryboat dock for a serene crossing of the Tsiribihina River, surrounded by lush greenery. Continuing toward Kirindy forest, you’ll do a night guided walk in the park with local guide to see all night active lemurs such as mouse lemur, sportive lemur, fork-marked lemur and foussa foussana lemur. Back to the hotel after the visit and rest.

7:00 am – drive back to the park after breakfast to spot active animals such as decken sifaka, brown lemurs, and native birds species. Continuing toward Morondava, you’ll encounter the iconic Baobab in Love and the breathtaking Avenue of the Baobabs, where the interplay of golden sunset rays and towering ancient trees creates a magical atmosphere perfect for photography. After this captivating experience, you will arrive in Morondava town in the late afternoon, welcomed by its vibrant atmosphere and mango trees, allowing you to unwind and reflect on a truly memorable day filled with Madagascar’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
