Tour Overview

During this adventure, you’ll travel to Amboseli National Park where you enjoy the magnificent view of Mt Kilimanjaro and hundreds of elephant families as it’s home to the largest tuskers you will ever see. You will then proceed to the lakes in the Great Rift Valley; Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru (home to hundreds of flamingos and rare rhinos). The last leg of the trip takes you to the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the most prolific wildlife destinations on the planet.

Day by Day Overview

You will have an early morning start as you drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive at around 1:00 pm, in time for a hot lunch. Check-in at your accommodation whereafter you enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Amboseli National Park is situated southeast of Nairobi. The highlight of this park is the greatest concentration of elephants in the world. See the fragile grassland with patches of acacia woodland, while in the southern area, there is a number of small, rocky, volcanic hills. Around the swamps, the vegetation is lush with yellow-barked acacias and phoenix palms.

Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp or lodge.

Today’s itinerary is flexible and you can discuss and plan the day’s program with your guide.

You can either have an early breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive at around 6:45 am with a picnic lunch and return late in the afternoon. Otherwise, you can depart at 6:00 am on an early morning game drive. Return to your accommodation for breakfast and relax for the morning until midafternoon. At 4:00 pm, depart on an afternoon game drive. You then return to the lodge or camp at around 6:45 pm for dinner and your overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will depart for Lake Naivasha. You will arrive in the afternoon, in time for a hot lunch. You will then enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha followed by a walking safari in the animal sanctuary.

Lake Naivasha is the second-largest freshwater lake in Kenya. It is located in the Great Rift Valley. The surrounding forest is decorated with the presence of a variety of wild animals and over 400 different bird species, making it the perfect destination for birders from all corners of the world.

After the activities, we will head back to the camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today is a relaxed day. After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The alkaline Lake Nakuru is known all over the world for its flamingoes and is recognized as being one of the Natural Wonders of the World. Lake Nakuru is now also a rhino sanctuary, harboring a good population of both black and white rhinos, but the flamingoes have always been the main attraction. You will arrive in time for lunch and then have an afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp or lodge.

Depart early in the morning to Masai Mara National Reserve. It is one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed. The Masai Mara is an unmistakable highlight of any holiday in Kenya. With a vast range of wildlife, including the Big Five and a rich cultural heritage to explore, Masai Mara is, without doubt, one of the greatest safari destinations in Africa. Between July and October things get busy when millions of zebra and wildebeest cross from Serengeti to Masai Mara searching for new grazing territories.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp or lodge.

Today’s itinerary is flexible and you can discuss and plan the day’s schedule with your guide.

You can either have a relaxed breakfast and then depart for a full-day game drive at around 7:00 am with a picnic lunch. The game drive will give you a chance to visit the Mara River where the migration happens. You will also have better chances to view wildlife all day and return back to the lodge or camp late in the afternoon.

Otherwise, you can depart at 6:00 am for an early morning game drive. Later, return to your accommodation for breakfast and relax for the morning until midafternoon. Then, at 4:00 pm, depart on an afternoon game drive. You’ll return to the lodge or camp at 6:30 pm for dinner and your overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will check out and proceed to Nairobi. Depending on your flight details, you will organize your departure time with your driver guide. You will be dropped off at your desired hotel or at the airport for your homebound flight.
