Day by Day Overview
Arrive at the international airport where you will be met by one of our representatives that will take you to your beautiful eco-lodge on the island of Nosy Komba. You will have the rest of the day to relax, take in the beautiful views and breathe in the fresh air while strolling on the beach. You can take part in any of the activities on offer, should you wish. Alternatively, you can acclimatise before the official start of your safari that begins in the morning.
Overnight at Jardin Vanille
After breakfast, you and your local guide are going to explore the island of Nosy Komba. The island is rural and wild, covered in dense, tropical forest and surrounded by volcanic rocks. Explore some of the beautiful beaches with its crystal clear waters. The highest point on the island is 622 meters above sea level which makes for some beautiful views. The island is also devoid of any cars and electricity, allowing you to truly immerse yourself in nature as you search for the famous ring-tailed and black lemurs that inhabit the island. Later you will head back to your lodge for the evening.

Today you will visit and explore Nosy Tanikely Island. You will take a private speedboat that will ferry you to the island that is part of the Nosy Be Island marine park and home to a diverse array of stunning coral. The coral reef has an exceptional amount of bio-diversity while the warm tropical waters and the Sambirano river on the island have created a haven for animals on the island and in its shallow reef waters. Explore the beautiful beaches and enjoy some snorkelling for the chance to get closer to the marine life. Scuba-diving can be arranged for those who wish to explore the reef in more detail. After a full day in the sun and exploring the island, you will head back to your lodge for the evening.

Today you will make your way to Nosy Be Island by speedboat for a chance to discover and explore Lokobe Reserve. The reserve is an incredible natural forest that is home to an array of endemic, medicinal plants and many ancient trees. Make your way through the beautiful forest and discover the amazing world within that has been preserved for centuries, allowing evolution to create some of the earth’s most unique animal and plant life. Search for lemurs, various reptiles, chameleons and tropical birds. Spend a magical day in nature before heading back to your lodge in the evening.

Today you have the chance to explore the island by yourself, walking the beautiful beaches and taking in the calm, relaxing vibes on your final full day of the safari. Take part in any activities on offer or relax under the shadow of a palm tree, the choice is yours.

Today you will make your way back to the mainland from your island getaway, marking the end of your trip. Depending on your flight details, you may have some time to enjoy the island and the lodge in the morning to soak up some final holiday sun.
