Day By Day Overview
On arrival we will arrange your pick up either from the airport or your Nairobi hotel and transfer you to our office, where you will be introduced to the driver guide and other group members. Between 8.30am and 8.45 am you will depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve with the first stopover at the view point for the view of the Great Rift Valley escarpment wall. Later you descend the escarpment and travel on to Narok town for an early lunch. You will arrive at AA Lodges, Fig Tree Camp or Mara Sopa Lodge between 2 and 3 pm. After check-in you will have the opportunity to go on an evening game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Breakfast will be served at the camp then around 8 am leave the camp with picnic lunches for an extensive 8 hour’s game viewing. The Masai Mara has the highest number of different wild species and you will have the chance to see hundreds of them. A game drive to the Mara river is compulsory, and if it’s migration time you will witness the same otherwise you will see crocodiles and hippos at the river. Picnic lunch inside the park then continue with the game drive until 5 pm. Leave the park for at least 2 hour’s optional activity. You will relax at the camp, take a nature walk with Masai warriors or visit the Masai village. Later you will be transferred to your lodge/camp or similar for dinner and overnight.
Early morning breakfast followed by a 5 hour game drive. Back to the camp/lodge for lunch. After lunch and relax, at about 4 pm head out on another game drive until 6 pm. Then return to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Early morning breakfast followed by a 3 hour game drive. Later you will continue out of the park still searching for game, driving towards Nakuru National Park. Here you will check in at Sarova Lion Hill for lunch. At 4 pm you head out on a game drive until 6.30 pm after which you will have dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast you will head out on a game drive. Later, after check out by 10 am, you will be driven to Nairobi for you to continue your travels and further holiday arrangements.
