You will drive up the crater highlands, making a quick stop at the rim for an out of this world view of Ngorongoro Crater. On arrival in Serengeti National Park, you will see why the name means ‘endless plains’ in the local language. The park is 6,900 sq.mile (18,000 sq. km) and is home of the Great Migration with 2 million wildebeests and hundreds of thousands of zebras. As for big cats it’s the place of choice to look out for lions.
