Day by Day Overview
You will be picked up from your accommodation in Arusha and head straight to Tarangire National Park. Covering an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometres, the landscape here is composed of granite ridges, river valleys and swamps. Vegetation is a mix of acacia woodland, combretum woodland, seasonally flooded grassland and baobab trees. The park is famous for its high density of elephants and beautiful baobab trees. Spending a day here will let you see animals including elephants, giraffes, impalas, lions and leopards.

After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous national park in the world, Serengeti National Park. You will drive up the crater highlands, making a quick stop at the rim for an out of this world view of Ngorongoro Crater. On arrival in Serengeti National Park, you will see why the name means ‘endless plains’ in the local language. The park is 6,900 sq.mile (18,000 sq. km) and is home of the Great Migration with 2 million wildebeests and hundreds of thousands of zebras. As for big cats it’s the place of choice to look out for lions.

Enjoy a full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and today will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation and finish with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full day game drive with picnic lunch.

Today you will wake up very early to do an early morning safari before breakfast, to spot the animals when they are more active. After the game drive head to Ngorongoro Crater and descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.

After breakfast, you will head straight to Lake Manyara National Park, a protected area in Tanzania’s Arusha and Manyara Regions, situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. It covers an area of 325 km2 (125 sq mi) including about 230 km2 (89 sq mi) lake surface. More than 350 bird species have been observed on the lake. Afterwards drive back to Arusha.
