Arrive at Johannesburg International Airport. Get transferred to Hoedspruit. Check into your luxurious accommodation with views of the reserve. Enjoy a welcome lunch at the lodge’s restaurant. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring the lodge’s amenities or relaxing by the pool. Embark on a thrilling sunset game drive to welcome you to the African wilderness. Return to the lodge for a delicious dinner under the stars.
Get ready for a thrilling safari in the world-famous Kruger National Park, a vast sanctuary where 150 different mammal species roam freely across an area two-thirds the size of Belgium. Kruger offers exceptional wildlife viewing, thanks to the presence of substantial populations of safari favorites such as lion, leopard, cheetah, African wild dog, elephant, black rhino, white rhino, giraffe, zebra, buffalo and wildebeest. But it also offers the opportunity to focus on less glamorous creatures, from graceful antelopes and boisterous baboons to colorful lizards and an astonishing 500-plus bird species.
The magnificent mountain scenery of Mpumalanga’s escarpment region is highlighted on the Panorama Route. Here you can explore a varied mosaic of sweeping viewpoints, lush evergreen forests, cascading waterfalls and other beauty spots situated in the fertile Drakensberg highlands flanking the immense Blyde River Canyon.
Go on an early morning game drive. You maybe luck to see the wild animals you missed in your last three days. After breakfast you will be transferred to Hoedspruit for your flight to Johannesburg Airport.
