Day By Day Overview
After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Tarangire National Park for a game drive and picnic lunch. Tarangire National Park is named after the Tarangire river that crosses through it and is famous for its big herds of elephant, huge baobab trees and high numbers of predators. There is a plethora to see and explore here.
After breakfast, we leave Karatu village and enter Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We proceed to cross Ngorongoro Highlands until Serengeti, moving north to Lobo, Bologonya and Mara regions looking for the great migration. In Lobo, Bologonya and Mara regions in North Serengeti, we can spot the great migration during summer (July to October), the herds move north and congregate before crossing the Mara river full of big crocodile.
After breakfast we experience the last game drive in Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch while searching for the great migration. In the afternoon we proceed to central Serengeti for overnight stay.
After breakfast we drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where we descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with picnic lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater is a must-see while on safari in Tanzania for its high density of wild animals. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a conservation project where the Masai and their livestock live together with wild animals.
After breakfast you can relax at the lodge and later transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport.
