Day by Day Overview
Following your morning meal, you’ll be collected and transported to Arusha airport for your flight bound for Central Serengeti. Upon arrival, engage in a wildlife expedition through the untamed terrain, tracing the remarkable migration routes, depending upon the season. Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s oldest and most renowned national park, holds the prestigious title of a UNESCO World Heritage site and has recently been hailed as the 7th natural marvel of Africa. The Serengeti is celebrated for its annual migration spectacle, where approximately six million hooves thunder across the expansive plains. It presents an unparalleled opportunity for game viewing, providing intimate encounters with creatures typically reserved for the pages of National Geographic: vast herds of buffalo, clusters of elephant and giraffe, and multitudes of eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle.

Experience two full days immersing yourself in the wonders of Serengeti National Park, where you’ll delve into the rich wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Particularly in the Wagakuria area, the resident wildlife population thrives, boasting prides of lions with up to 30 members. However, the true spectacle unfolds from July to October during the annual great migration, transforming the region into a wildlife utopia. A highlight of this migration is witnessing the majestic Mara River, where you may observe herds crossing north one day and returning south a few days later. It’s worth noting that spotting these crossings can be challenging and often relies on chance.
Additionally, you have the option to elevate your experience with a thrilling hot air balloon flight.
