Day by Day Overview
Pick up from your hotel/airport and embark on your 6-hour drive to Masai Mara. On your way from Nairobi, you will enjoy the scenic views of the Nairobi suburbs, beautiful savannah grasslands and the plains of the Great Rift Valley. Your expected time of arrival should be in time for lunch. Check-in at Ashnil Mara and after a warm meal, go out for the first game drive of the day. After the evening game drive, head back to Ashnil Mara for an overnight stay.
Overnight: Ashnil Mara Camp
Early morning after breakfast, leave the camp with packed lunch. This is because you will spend the whole day in the park in search of animals like lions, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, and many more. Depending on your time of visit (July-September) you should witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. This is also the sole reason why most tourists prefer visiting through this time of the year. After an amazing full-day game drive, head back to Ashnil Mara Camp for an overnight stay.

Early in the morning after breakfast, check out of camp and head to Lake Nakuru National Park. This is a 5-hour drive and your estimated time of arrival in Nakuru should be in time for lunch. Check in at Sarova Lionhill and after a warm meal head out for an evening game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is known for its huge numbers of flamingos, pelicans rhinos, zebras buffalos and many more. After the game drive head back to Sarova Lionhill for an overnight stay.
Overnight: Sarova Lionhill
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive en route as you exit the park. You will have one stop for lunch before your drop off in a Nairobi hotel or at the airport. Important to note: Kindly note that Lake Nakuru National Park is a single entry meaning that when you exit the park, you can only re-enter by paying park fees. The last game drive is only for those staying in accommodations inside the park.
