Day by Day Overview
Your adventure begins with a 7:30 am pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi. As we drive through the expansive African savanna, you’ll pass local homesteads and catch glimpses of Maasai herdsmen tending to their cattle — a perfect introduction to the vibrant culture of Kenya. The drive takes you towards Amboseli National Park, where you’ll arrive just in time for a delicious lunch at your lodge or camp. After a brief rest, it’s time to embark on your first game drive in Amboseli. This park is famous for its impressive elephant herds, but you’ll also have the chance to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including:

- Wildebeests
As you traverse the park, you’ll be treated to stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, standing majestically on the horizon. After a day of exploring, return to your accommodation for a hearty dinner and a restful night, preparing for another exciting day ahead.

Your second day on safari begins with an exciting morning game drive, where you’ll explore the vast plains of Amboseli, with Mount Kilimanjaro standing proudly as your backdrop. Guided by our expert safari guides, you’ll have the chance to witness the incredible diversity of wildlife that calls this park home. In addition to the majestic elephants, you may also encounter herds of buffalo, prides of lions, families of giraffes, and the numerous other creatures that roam this iconic landscape. The park’s natural beauty, coupled with the animals in their wild habitat, offers endless opportunities for awe-inspiring photographs and unforgettable moments.
After your morning adventure, you’ll return to your lodge or camp for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you have the option to visit a traditional Masai village. This optional experience will immerse you in the culture of the Masai people, known worldwide for their strength, courage, and intimate connection with the land. During your visit, you’ll be welcomed with traditional songs and dances, a vital part of their sacred rituals. You’ll also have the chance to learn about their history, culture, and daily life, including entering a traditional Masai home. This is a unique opportunity to engage with the local community and gain insight into their fascinating way of life. (An additional US$20 per person is charged for this experience.)

This peaceful, yet exhilarating, game drive will offer you a last chance to see the stunning wildlife of the region before returning to your lodge for breakfast.
After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to check out and say goodbye to Amboseli National Park. Your safari journey concludes with a scenic drive back to Nairobi, where you’ll arrive in the early afternoon. Depending on your travel plans, you can choose a drop-off at your hotel, residence, or Nairobi’s international airport.
