Day by Day Overview
You’ll be picked up from the airport or your hotel and be transferred to our office for a briefing. Meet your guide and the other group members and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for refueling and lunch. Proceed to the game reserve where you will first check in at the camp, have time for a little siesta then proceed on the first introduction game viewing in Masai Mara. Later on, return to Miti Mingi Eco Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
- ACCOMMODATION: MITI MINGI ECO CAMP
After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. You will then break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
- ACCOMMODATION: MITI MINGI ECO CAMP
Early morning take breakfast and visit the Masai Village to interact with the Maasai people and learn more about their culture. Their dances, their way of living, how they measure their wealth in terms of the number of cattle, number of wives and kids, sheep and goats and also the varsity land mass are among the things to learn from the Masai people. Later on, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch en route. After lunch there is a stopover at Lake Naivasha for an optional activity which is boat ridding. Drive to Nakuru town, arriving before sunset. Check in at your budget safari accommodation for dinner and overnight.
- ACCOMMODATION: BURAHA ZENONI
After breakfast, you will proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is known for its prolific birdlife including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. Drive to Amboseli National Park arriving late in the evening with game viewing en route to the camp. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.
- ACCOMMODATION: NYATI SAFARI CAMP
This will be a day of game drives in this park, which contains swampy grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes, birds, and Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak can be seen if weather conditions permit. We will cater for picnic lunches. You’ll return to the camp for your overnight stay.
- ACCOMODATION: NYATI SAFARI CAMP
You’ll have early morning game viewing before returning to the camp for a full breakfast. Later, you will check out and proceed to Namanga border. After immigration, you will catch the shuttle bus to Arusha. You will be met and transferred to Charity Hotel booked on a bed and breakfast basis. Dinner will be at your own expense.
- ACCOMODATION: CHARITY HOTEL
After breakfast, you will depart to Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing. Lesser kudu, eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park. The park is noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.
- ACCOMODATION: TWIGA CAMPSITE
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This afternoon, you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a day crater tour with picnic lunches. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.
- ACCOMODATION: SIMBA CAMPSITE
Today you’ll drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Visit this museum at an extra cost and see the findings including some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Lunch will be served at the Seronera Camp. You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp
- ACCOMODATION: SERONERA CAMPSITE
You’ll enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. At mid-morning, return to the camp for late breakfast and then depart to Lake Manyara with lunch en-route. Upon arrival, have the evening game drive till sunset. Later on, drive back to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
- ACCOMODATION AT TWIGA CAMPSITE
After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and other varieties of birdlife. Lunch will be at the camp. After lunch, drive back to Arusha for a drop of at Charity Hotel booked on a bed and breakfast basis

After breakfast at your hotel, our partner will be ready to take you to the shuttle bus back to Nairobi or drop you to Kilimanjaro airport to take a flight to Zanzibar.
