The minimum age to book this safari alone is 16 years old, however we accept children from 4 years old and above if accompanied by an adult. Children under 13 years old will receive a discount. We also offer discounts for members of the family that wish to join the safari and will not be taking photographs and do not require as much space. The price above may vary depending on dates booked and accommodation comfort options. Small, private groups ensure a maximum of three photographers per vehicle, ensuring you have the space you need to capture your desired images. Long lenses are not required and we recommend 80mm-400mm lenses. Please contacts us for further information in this regard.

Day by Day Overview

You will be met at the airport by one of our representatives and taken to your hotel for the evening. Relax at leisure as you await the start of your safari in the morning.

Rivertree Lodge

In the morning you will make your way to the Lake Manyara National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive as you make your way through the beautiful park, visiting the massive Lake Manyara. The lake attracts thousands of flamingos and you may also see the parks famous tree-climbing lions. Later head to camp for some dinner.

After breakfast, you set off for the famous Ndutu Plains, home to the wildebeest calving site and the start of the migration. Enjoy spectacular views of the Ngorongoro Highlands en-route and stop at the crater viewpoint for a birds-eye-view of the magnificent crater below.

Enjoy a full day exploring the Ndutu Plains with sightings of flamingo, cheetah and numerous plains game. There may still be some lingering animals from the back of the migrating herds. Enjoy sightings of some of the big cats who will be very well fed and sleeping the day away.

Another full day on the plains to search for the high number of cheetahs and lions. You will also visit the two beautiful soda lakes in the area. The plains are part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and offer you the opportunity to drive off road to get close to animals for some beautiful photographs.

Make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park with is vast grasslands plains that are known for the majestic scenes of the wildebeest migration. In addition to the beautiful wildlife sightings, you can make your way to the Maasai rock paintings and the Ngong rock art for a cultural experience.

Enjoy a full day in the reserve as you make your way across the plains in search of the giant herds that are on the move. They will be in a different position to the previous day allowing you to see numerous other animals on the way as you look for them. Be sure to keep your eyes open for some of the big cats that should be pursing the herds. Today you can also go on a balloon safari that takes you floating above the reserve for an amazing game viewing experience.

Today you will make your way to the Ngorongoro Highlands to your camp situated on the Olmoti Volcano, a prime location known for its exclusivity and proximity to the crater. The camp was inspired by the local Maasai bomas and offers stunning views of the crater below and the surrounding Serengeti.

An early start as you set off for a full day of exploring this magnificent reserve. Descend down the steep rim walls with your packed breakfast and lunch and enter the lush world that lies in the crater below. Enjoy an abundance of wildlife sightings, set in one of the most beautiful places on earth surrounded by the towering walls of the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera. Search for all of the big five, including the black rhino and numerous antelope and bird species.

In the morning you will make your way to the Tarangire National Park and enjoy a full of game viewing as you make your way through the beautiful landscape dotted with iconic acacia umbrella-thorn trees and the ancient baobabs. Visit the Silalei Swamp and Tarangire River that help support the largest herds of elephant in Africa and enjoy sightings of eland, oryx and over 300 different bird species. Later you will make your way back to camp for a delicious dinner.

In the morning you will make your way back to Arusha. An en-route stop for lunch and the opportunity to buy some souvenirs before making your way to your hotel for the afternoon. You will then be taken to the airport in time for your flight.
